Martha Helen Strzelecki

Age 88, of Columbus Township, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, March 2, 2010, at Mt. Clemens Regional Hospital, Mt. Clemens.
She was born Friday, May 27, 1921, in Hamtramck, the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen (Waschizk) Baczewski.
Her marriage to Norbert E. Strzelecki was Saturday, November 11, 1950, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Columbus Township. Norbert passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2005.
Martha was a parishioner of Holy Family Parish, Columbus Township.
Surviving are her children, Norbert Alexander and Joellyn Strzelecki of St. Clair, Linda Serre of West Bloomfield, Dennis Strzelecki of St. Clair Township, and James and Theresa Strzelecki of New Baltimore; seven grandchildren: Craig (Heather), Margaret Kelly (Ronald), Jennifer (Eric), Kyle, Devin, Mark and Amanda; four great-grandchildren: Cade, Will, Peyton and Jacob; all the special caregivers from Harbor Health Services of Marine City, including Heidi Olszewski, Vicki Schultz, Shelly Bender and Rose Couwlier and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Her daughter, Gloria Jean DeHate and her brother, Anthony preceded her in death.
Her family honors the memory of Martha and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with scripture services at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Parish Catholic Church, Columbus Township, with 9:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. Joseph Horn, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Columbus Township.
