Obituary for Cynthea Lynn Schott

61, of Yale, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at McLaren Macomb Hospital.
She was born December 5, 1957, in Pontiac, the daughter of Paul and Georgetta (Story) Baird.
Cynthea’s marriage of 44 years to Michael Schott was November 19, 1975.
Cynthea loved cooking, tending to her flower beds, and bird (people) watching. She loved her time with her grandchildren more than anything.
Surviving in addition to her husband Michael are five sons, Jason (Jessica Rock). Port Huron, Jeremy (Kayla), Port Huron, David (Shelia Williams), Arkansas, Doug (Amanda), Yale, and Michael Jr. (Kristina) of Brown City; three daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Schultz, Yale, Melanie (Brian) Buchheister, Port Huron, and Deanna, Memphis; 22 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Cynthea was preceded in death by her father Paul Baird.
The family honors the memory of Cynthea and invites you to visit and share memories Monday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Fr. Doc Ortman will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to “Wishes of the Family”.
